Level 3 Classes: This language course is suitable for those who have had 40 to 50 hours of teaching, have completed UEA German Level 2, or have achieved GCSE level but not practised the language in a while. It will reinforce what you have already learnt and further extend your grammar, vocabulary, and fluency.
Autumn term duration: 10 x 2 hour classes, Tuesday evenings, 6:15pm to 8:15pm
Key Language
Amongst others, you will learn to make smalltalk, to compare and argue (dis)advantages, to talk about birthdays and presents, to construct complex sentences, to express wishes, to discuss travel and destinations, and to ask for lost items.
This course equates to the A1/A2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Modern Languages (CEFR).
Grammar
Level-appropriate grammar is taught, and all four skills - listening comprehension, reading, speaking, and writing - are practised.
