Student Events

During welcome week we have some optional tours running if you would like to be guided around the facilities by a current student.  You are welcome to book a tour of one/both buildings, depending on your preferences.  Please note, if wishing to join a tour of both buildings book these for one on each day as it is a 15 minute walk between buildings.

The tours will run:

• Tuesday 15^th September, 3-4pm – The Queen’s Building – leaving from the foyer area.
• Tuesday 15^th September, 3-4pm – The Edith Cavell Building – leaving from the foyer area.
• Wednesday 16^th September, 3-4pm – The Queen’s Building – leaving from the foyer area.
• Wednesday 16^th September, 3-4pm – The Edith Cavell Building – leaving from the foyer area.

Welcome Events for Post-Qualifying, Post-Graduate and CPD Learners

We look forward to welcoming you to study with us in the coming year. We have a series of welcome events depending on when you are due to start:

Thursday 17 September 2026, 2 - 5pm (face-to-face and online)
Monday 4 January 2027, 3 - 5pm (face-to-face and online)
Friday 23 April 2027, 3 - 5pm (online only)

Events will take place on campus and will be live-streamed via Blackboard Collaborate (23 April is online only). Recordings of the talks will be available on Blackboard afterwards.

These welcome events will allow you to meet members of the post-registration education team and find out about the support and services available to you during your studies.
