SUPPORTING EATING BEHAVIOUR CHANGE IN PRACTICE

COURSE CONTENT 

This course is split into five different modules titled:

MODULE 01 | Blueprint for Nutrition

MODULE 02 | What is a Portion?

MODULE 03 | Understanding Food labels

MODULE 04 | Smart Food Purchasing and Preparation

MODULE 05 | Nutrition and Mental Health

The modules will introduce behaviour change theory and evidence-based strategies throughout. They will also highlight key client-centred communication skills to aid conversations about dietary change.

COURSE AIM

Providing the community workforce with knowledge and skills to better support individuals they work with and make every conversation count to improve nutrition behaviours.
