Driving Change: Behavioural Science for Health and Social Care Professionals and ResearchersInfo Course Information![]() An online two-day course for health and social care professionals and researchers.
Driving any change in health and social care requires interventions that support service users/professionals to change their behaviour. Behavioural science is the methodological discipline of understanding, predicting and changing human behaviour. For example, understanding why people do not adhere to treatment, predicting those who may not adhere and developing interventions to address the reason(s) for non-adherence. The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) describes behaviour change interventions as having “enormous potential to alter patterns of disease and improve public health”. This course is designed for health and social care professionals and researchers looking to obtain the practical skills necessary to design and implement their own behaviour change interventions.
