UEA Music Centre Concerts and Events 2026-27

UEA Choir, Chamber Choir and Community Choir warmly invite you to join them for their ever-popular UEA Choirs Christmas Carol Concert on Wednesday 9 December 2026 at 7:30pm at The Cathedral of St John the Baptist, Norwich.

The 150-strong UEA Choir, alongside the 30-strong Chamber Choir, will perform music by Rutter, Bach and Howells, together with a selection of much-loved Christmas carols for the audience to join in with. The choirs will be accompanied by organist David Grealy.

The concert will also feature performances by the UEA Community Choir and its conductor, UEA Director of Music Bjorn Bantock, as well as a special appearance by Cawston Band.

Celebrate the festive season with some of your favourite Christmas carols in one of Norwich's most beautiful and historic buildings.

Ticket Prices: 

• £15 – Full price
• £12 – UEA staff, students and seniors (aged 60+) 

Tickets are available online (subject to availability) until 10.00am on the day of the concert.

The ticket price includes a complimentary concert programme, which can be collected from the ticket checking desk on the evening of the concert.

Important Information

• Doors open at 6:45pm
• The concert lasts approximately 2 hours, including a 30-minute interval
• Seating is unreserved
• Please take your seat at least 10 minutes before the advertised start time
• Latecomers will only be admitted during a suitable break in the performance
• Physical tickets are no longer issued; your confirmation email serves as your ticket

All profits from UEA Music Centre concerts are used to fund scholarships for students.
