Drama Studio Auditorium![]() The UEA Drama Studio is a flexible theatre space right in the heart of campus. The Studio Main Space is our premier performance space, seating up to 100 audience members. As well as being the home of the UEA Drama degree programmes, the Studio is the venue for theatre, comedy, musicals and live literature at UEA. Both the Studio Auditorium and the Rehearsal Room venues are ground access, and seating arrangements for wheelchairs or other mobility requirements can be easily made – please inform the Studio by contacting LDC.DramaStudio@uea.ac.uk ahead of your visit. If you require support of a companion to access our venue, please let us know at the same address when booking a ticket and a complimentary ticket will be arranged. An analogue induction loop is fitted within the Studio Auditorium (but not the Rehearsal Room). If you have a digital hearing aid, please switch it to the T loop setting when you come to visit. Registered assistance dogs are welcome and can be taken into the Studio Auditorium or the Rehearsal Room. Please inform the Studio by emailing LDC.DramaStudio@uea.ac.uk when booking your ticket. For the performance, a Steward will direct you to an appropriate seat and inform you of anything in the show that could affect you dog’s comfort. We regret we cannot offer that guide dogs be left in the care of front-of-house staff. Please be aware, this does not extend to emotional support animals, which cannot enter the auditoria. To find out more about our degree programmes, please visit www.uea.ac.uk/literature/drama or follow us on Instagram @LDCDrama There Is No NewsDescriptionThere Is No News
‘There is No News’ is an absurdist, laugh-a-minute comedy set in a world that nearly ended… but didn’t. Follow Jenny & Claire and their bizarre co-workers Mr Jules & Barney at The Chuck newspaper in the tiny Nottinghamshire village of Warsop as they navigate a world numbed by the near-apocalypse with no more interesting news to tell. ‘There Is No News’ is written by Tabs Nixon & Jamie Radcliffe, directed by Jamie Radcliffe and brought to you by the Minotaur Theatre Company.
