Drama Studio Auditorium The UEA Drama Studio is a flexible theatre space right in the heart of campus. The Studio Main Space is our premier performance space, seating up to 100 audience members. As well as being the home of the UEA Drama degree programmes, the Studio is the venue for theatre, comedy, musicals and live literature at UEA. Both the Studio Auditorium and the Rehearsal Room venues are ground access, and seating arrangements for wheelchairs or other mobility requirements can be easily made – please inform the Studio by contacting LDC.DramaStudio@uea.ac.uk ahead of your visit. If you require support of a companion to access our venue, please let us know at the same address when booking a ticket and a complimentary ticket will be arranged. An analogue induction loop is fitted within the Studio Auditorium (but not the Rehearsal Room). If you have a digital hearing aid, please switch it to the T loop setting when you come to visit. Registered assistance dogs are welcome and can be taken into the Studio Auditorium or the Rehearsal Room. Please inform the Studio by emailing LDC.DramaStudio@uea.ac.uk when booking your ticket. For the performance, a Steward will direct you to an appropriate seat and inform you of anything in the show that could affect you dog’s comfort. We regret we cannot offer that guide dogs be left in the care of front-of-house staff. Please be aware, this does not extend to emotional support animals, which cannot enter the auditoria. Prepare to have your spine tingled by a portmanteau performance of brand-new ghost plays written by talented writers from the University of East Anglia’s renowned MA in Creative Writing. Inspired by classic horror cinema such as Dead of Night, this atmospheric evening weaves together uncanny tales that unsettle, amuse, and linger in the imagination. A dynamic ensemble of actors will bring each eerie story vividly to life, guiding audiences through a world of shadows, whispers, and the unexplained. Weekend Workshop 2026DescriptionThe Meisner Technique Weekend Workshop 2026 is open to all actors of all abilities. The workshop includes three days of teaching, with two nights at UEA's Broadview Hotel and breakfast vouchers at campus food outlet Zest included. Tea and coffee will be supplied over the duration of the workshop. Parking on campus will be free for workshop attendees upon the supply of your vehicle registration number. Booking and Refund Information The workshop fee is £400 per person and is payable in full at the time of booking. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Cancellations made on or before Friday 2 October are eligible for a full refund. Any cancellations made after this date are not eligible for a refund. However, if the place can be filled by an individual from a waiting list, the Drama Studio will endeavour to offer a refund. If the Drama Studio cancels the workshop, all fees paid will be refunded in full. The Drama Studio's liability is limited to the refund of fees paid and does not extend to travel, or any other associated costs incurred.
