Level 2 Classes: This course is suitable for learners who are confident with the content covered in Level 1, such as giving basic personal information and using regular and common verbs in the present tense.By the end of this course, you will be able to communicate simple everyday needs, use familiar expressions, and engage in basic interactions, provided the other person speaks slowly and is willing to help.
In Level 2, we will work at the A1 level of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

10x weekly classes, Tuesday evenings, 6:15pm to 8:15pm
Communicative themes may include:
Giving directions in a town or city: Understanding and producing simple questions and instructions to navigate urban spaces. Using basic prepositions of place and movement verbs in the present tense. Giving simple commands.
Making plans for a future trip: Describing intentions using future structures, comparing destinations, and discussing travel preferences and basic itineraries. Using and understanding vocabulary related to holidays and places of interest.
Talking about family members and their relationships.
Describing people’s appearance and personality.
Describing household chores and how often they are done. Describing common household tasks. Talking about routines in the home. Being able to ask and answer simple questions about who does what and how often.
Describing physical sensations, emotions, and give basic advice. Expressing physical discomfort and emotional states. Naming body parts and mental states. Giving and understanding basic advice.
Giving the date and describing the weather. Using simple structures to ask for and state date. Talking about the seasons and describing current weather conditions. Describing what people are wearing or doing in response to the weather and asking basic questions about it.
Engaging in simple shopping and restaurant interactions. Asking for prices, sizes, and preferences politely. Understanding and using common phrases to order food or buy items.

Affirmative imperative (tú):Gira a la derecha.
Ir + a + infinitive to express future plans: Voy a viajar a Madrid.
Comparatives of superiority, inferiority, and equality: Madrid es más grande que Sevilla.
Possessive adjectives and pronouns:Mi madre, su hermano, nuestros abuelos.
Verbs ser, estar, tener, and llevar to describe people: Ella es alta, está contenta, tiene ojos azules, lleva gafas.
Present continuous (estar + gerundio): Está lloviendo
Adverbs of frequency: Siempre, a veces, nunca.
First conditional for giving advice: Si tienes fiebre, descansa.
Impersonal expressions to describe weather: Hace frío, está nublado, hay tormenta.
