An Introduction to Implementation Science: online CPD module, 1 June-17 July 2026

This CPD course is for anyone interested in improving health and social care services, including researchers, service user researchers, and health and social care practitioners, who want to develop their understanding of implementation science.  

This online course will provide an understanding of: 

• Core scientific principles and investigative methods
• Frameworks and models for planning, developing and evaluating interventions
• Quantitative, qualitative, economic and statistical approaches
• Strategies for engaging diverse stakeholders, scaling and sustaining interventions

There are 6 weeks of taught sessions over a 7 week period, with one week break after the second week.

Delegates will be enrolled on the virtual learning environment 1 week prior to the course start date.  The learning will comprise a blend of  asynchronous and synchronous online sessions.  Synchronous sessions will be repeated and recorded.
