Surface Work as Crafting Worlds: Perspectives on Making and Meaning in the Indigenous Americas

This symposium explores ‘surface work’ as a key dimension of artworks and artistic practices across the Americas. Bringing together specialists and case studies from North, Central and South America, it creates a cross-continental dialogue on surfaces, their making and their significance across time.

Due to Modern Life Café policy, dinner guests must pre-book by 9 September; walk-ins cannot be accommodated. A restaurant link will follow for menu choices and dietary requirements.
