Delegates will be encouraged to exchange research ideas, contribute and gain deep insight into the problems and possibilities of constructing social human practices and to strengthen the output of research articles and books.

This year's event will explore the role of specialised language games in various professional, organisational, inter-organisational, and societal contexts (e.g., accounting, management, marketing, and strategy).

Submissions are being accepted on any topics that provide insights into the methods and techniques for the construction of (dys-)functional practices and you can find more in the further information section.

·         Language games of possibilities, including ethics, democracy, digitalisation, gender balance, organisational cooperation, organisational learning, corporate social responsibility, and meta-theories.

·         Language games of performance measurement and the creation of sustainability for human well-being, social cohesion, and environmental stewardship.

·         Language games and language plays of (good) accountants in constructing sustainable activities, relationships, and projects.

·         Language games and language plays in constructing (dys-)functional practices to address social, environmental, and economic crises.

·         Sustainability and ethics in organisational practices with pragmatic constructivism facilitating ethical, sustainable, and human-centric practices across industries. Topics may include integrating ethical decision-making in public sector performance management or strategies for managing global sustainability challenges.

·         Inter-organisational and multi-contextual practices  where language games and pragmatic constructivism dimensions foster collaboration in inter-organisational settings or unify diverse cultural and operational contexts.

·         Methodological innovations including novel methodologies for exploring language games and actor-reality construction, such as ethnographic approaches, meta-language game analyses, or interdisciplinary strategies.

The conference invites three categories of contributions: i) Full papers, ii) Abstracts and iii) PhD-projects. There will be enough time for in-depth discussions and reflections among the participants, who will hopefully further develop their thoughts and paper writing.
