Lighthouse Festival showcases 10 original short plays performed over two exciting evenings. Join us in celebrating new writing and emerging talent in an inspiring showcase of creativity and storytelling. More information about the individual plays will be announced soon—stay tuned! Starlane was founded in 2025 by UEA alumna Megan Beth. Megan graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2024 with a degree in Drama and Creative Writing, and went on to complete a Master’s in Film, Television and Creative Practice, also at UEA. She now works as a freelance music teacher and remains actively involved in the Norwich performing arts scene—most recently appearing in Carousel at the Norwich Theatre Royal. This marks Starlane’s debut theatre festival, and Megan is thrilled to share an exciting showcase of new plays with audiences.
