Description

Islands in a Common Sea: Stories of farming, fishing, and food around the world by Jenny Jefferies (film by Colin Ramsay). 

Following her successful For The Love Of cookbook series championing farming and fishing in the UK, award-winning author Jenny Jefferies has compiled a new, visually stunning, and globally relevant book that celebrates stories of farmers and fishermen from around world working in small-scale and sustainable ways.  

Three short films by Colin Ramsay bring to life three of the stories featured in the book.  

Ticket includes a free copy of this beautiful, large format book (RRP £35.00). 

Age recommendation: suitable for audiences of all ages  

Date: 4 July 2026 

Time: 2.00-3.30pm  

Ticket price: £5 adults, £3 concessions (students, seniors aged 60 or over, anyone receiving benefits), free for children under 18 (please book to reserve their ticket).

Venue: Town Close Room, Norwich Castle, Castle Hill, Norwich, NR1 3JU 

Event: Green Film Festival @UEA 2026 

 In the event the the screening is cancelled, all customers will receive a full refund. We will aim to contact ticket holders with as much notice as possible in the event of cancellation.
