DescriptionAs part of Heritage Open Days, the Sainsbury Centre is offering free and exclusive tours. This is your chance to delve deeper into our stunning architecture, and get a tour of areas not usually open to the public. These tours are free to attend but tickets must be booked in advance. Numbers are limited to 12 per tour. Sculpture, the Sainsbury Centre & Architectural Heritage Tour:Explore our beautiful Sculpture Trail, discover the highlights of the Sainsbury Centre and learn about the history of the architecture of the Ziggurats and the first UEA buildings designed by Denys Lasdun. Saturday 13 September, 11:00 AM with Bo Davies Sunday 14 September, 11:00 AM with Carol Hinds Behind the Scenes Tour: Go beyond the galleries and uncover the secrets of the Sainsbury Centre itself. This tour includes a special visit to the Crescent Wing Corridor and a unique look behind the “skin” (the interior wall) of the Living Area, both usually closed to the public.
