Description

Join artists Seyi Adelekun and Herbalist Katy Fullilove for an afternoon of Foraging and Folklore.

Together we will take a sensory walk through the parklands to meet the wild plants and learn about their folklore, mythology and medicinal qualities, through mindful foraging and blind tea tastings.

Back in the studio, we will gather to craft herbal teas and tinctures to enjoy together and take home.

Drawing on ideas from Seyi Adelukun's installation Tree of Life, this workshop invites reflection, storytelling, and the gentle calling in of intentions and energies through plant relationships. It is a chance to connect with the natural world through ancestral knowledges that continue to sustain, nuture and guide us.

This event will take place outiside - please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
