More Information

Going beyond standard carbon or climate literacy training, the workshop combines core climate science and carbon accounting with deeper examination of the systems, power structures, and assumptions that shape climate action. Through a mix of interactive activities and expert-led sessions, participants will explore climate change as a fundamentally systemic and political challenge, reflect on the limits of carbon footprinting and consumer-led solutions alone, and situate organisational responses within wider structures of responsibility and influence.

The programme also encourages imaginative thinking, supporting participants to explore alternative, more sustainable futures and ways of living as a foundation for meaningful organisational change.

Delivered by UEA researchers from Environmental Sciences and Global Development as part of the Biodiversity and Climate Action Network, the workshop offers a distinctive, research-informed approach to climate literacy with practical relevance for organisations.
