Course Description

Level 3 Classes: This course is a continuation of Level 2. This is for students who have taken around 40 hours of teaching, have basic knowledge of the language and are familiar with Hiragana.

 

Term duration 10 x weekly 2-hour classes, Tuesday evenings, 6:15pm to 8:15pm

 

Key Language

Talking about places 

e.g. Kyōto ni o-tera ya jinja ga arimasu. / Watashi no uchi ni inu ga imasu. / Konbini wa eki no mae ni arimasu.  

Giving and receiving

e.g. Okada-san wa Grey-san ni tokei o agemashita. / Grey-san wa Okada-san ni tokei o moraimashita.

Talking about preferences 

e.g. Amy-san wa kōhī ga suki desu. 

Making an invitation

e.g. Issho ni Asakusa ni ikimasen ka / Doko de aimashō ka.

Stating a wish: I want to do something 

e.g. Watashi wa rainen nihon ni ikitai desu. 

Writing hiragana and katakana
