Summer term duration 10 x weekly 2-hour classes, Thursday evenings, 6:15pm to 8:15pm
Level 8 Classes: This level is suitable for those who have had 100+ hours of teaching, have completed an A-level or have recently attended the UEA German Level 7 course. By expanding the vocabulary and consolidating and advancing the knowledge of grammar, the aim of this course is to improve fluency and overall conversational skills whilst also honing reading and writing abilities. This course corresponds to the B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Modern Languages (CEFR).

Learning about the German life and culture
Giving presentation on chosen topic

Consolidation of knowledge from previous levels; modal particles; prepositions; pronouns; relative clauses; reported speech; sentence connectors; the passive.
All four skills – listening comprehension, reading, speaking and writing – are practiced
