MBA Essentials for Health and Social Care Professionals

The MBA Essentials for Health and Social Care programme is aimed in supporting you to develop your skills and professional practice in leading your organisations through disruptive times and with engaging in new ways of working.

This interactive 5-day online programme is taught over two months, with one scheduled session per week. Study weeks are embedded into the schedule to allow you time to focus on your individual study and assignments.

Course Description

You will be encouraged to apply ‘MBA thinking’ to the issues faced by your organisation and to enhance the performance of your teams to meet organisational objectives. Module content is designed to allow the immediate application of your learning and understanding into the workplace.

You will explore innovative ways of transforming health and social care services and will be encouraged to think creatively through in-class discussions, and take inspiration from our specialist guest speakers. You will have the opportunity to network alongside like-minded healthcare professionals to discuss solutions and share best practice across service delivery to achieve better patient outcomes.

Teaching is delivered online using a variety of blended and participative learning styles, and methods will be used to ensure all delegates can contribute and interact within the group.

MBA Essentials is delivered by an expert team of academics and researchers who teach on our AMBA-accredited MBA degree course. On completion of the course, there will be an opportunity to discuss progression on to our MBA programme with the MBA Course Director.
