Course Description

Level 4 Classes: This course is suitable for people who have already had 40 - 60 hours of teaching, who would like to use it for holiday and/or work-related purposes. By the end of the course, you will be able to formulate sentences in a conversational setting, understand simple written information, talk about past routine/holidays and discuss plans.

 

Autumn Term duration 10 x weekly 2-hour classes, Wednesday evenings, 6:15pm to 8:15pm 

 

Key Language

Revision on the following topics:
Meeting people / Staying with a Greek host / Food and Drink

Improve and expand on vocabulary and grammar on the following topics:
Travel and holidays: Obtain information from a tourist office / Ask for and follow directions /Buy fuel for a car and request simple maintenance e.g. check the tyres etc./Describe past holidays and journeys /Describe plans for future trips including mode of transport /Describe weather conditions.

Health Services and Emergencies:
Name parts of the body / describe symptoms of ailments /Book an appointment with a doctor or dentist/Follow oral or written medical advice/ Obtain access to services.
