Level 2 Classes: This language course follows on from German Level 1. It is for those who have taken 20 to 30 hours of teaching. It is suitable for people with some knowledge of the language but who are not complete beginners (some revision of the basics will be provided).This course equates to the A1/A2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Modern Languages (CEFR).
Term duration 10 x weekly 2-hour classes, Thursday evenings, 6:15pm to 8:15pm

Talking about daily routine and work/leisure activities e.g. Sie geht morgens ins Büro und arbeitet am Computer.
Asking for a table in a restaurant, understanding the menu, ordering food and drink e.g. Ich hätte gern einen Tisch für 4, bitte. Möchten Sie bestellen?
Understanding and talking about activities in the past e.g. Er hat eine Konzertkarte gebucht. Wir sind geschwommen.
Understanding the weather forecast and traffic report e.g. Nachts vor allem im Norden leichter Schneefall.
Grammar
Reflexive verbs, prepositions of place, verbs with Dative/Accusative, sentence connectors, past and future tense.
All four skills (listening comprehension, reading, speaking and writing) are practiced.
