How to Start a Food Business

Description

Course Overview

This course is designed to give you an introduction into the steps to take when you start your own food business.

 

The course will be delivered in four 3-hour sessions covering the following topics.

 

Session 1 - 18th of May 5:30-8:30pm - Developing the Right Product

Session 2 - 25th of May 5:30-8:30pm – Customers & Where To Find Them

Session 3 – 1st of June 5:30-8:30pm - How It’s Made & How It Gets There

Session 4 – 9th of June 5:30-8:30pm - The Business & Making It Happen

 

You will be given an overview of the elements of running your own food business, and you will have the confidence to drive your business forward successfully.

 

Please note that we will require you to attend all 4 sessions.

Seaweed Opportunities in the Food & Drink Sector

Seaweeds are seen as an important future feedstock for Europe with wider applications in foods and nutritional supplements. Want to learn more?

Then join in on the Food Inspire Series talk on the 24th of May to learn more about seaweed opportunities in the food and drink sector. The talk will be given my Hethel Innovation’s Innovation Advisor, Rikke Nagell-Kleven, and will include our regional initiative to support the development of a seaweed industry in East Anglia – the Algae Innovation Platform, examples of companies using seaweed in their food and drink products as well as industry trends and future seaweed opportunities.
