ContactOnline Registration at the standard registration fee is open until midnight (GMT) Saturday, July 23rd, 2022. After that date the registration will increase to £500 for the standard fee (£200 for the discounted fee). A discounted registration fee applies to delgate guests (over 12 years of age), students, activists, retirees and participants based in 'lower income' and 'lower middle income' countries (as defined by the World Bank). Presenters of accepted papers must register by June 30th in order to ensure that their paper is included in the program. The organising committee reserves the right to close registration earlier if capacity is reached. The registration fee covers coffee breaks, the reception, 2 lunches, 3 dinners and a great social program. Delegate guests are welcome if they want to join the social programme and meals by paying the discounted registration fee. If they prefer, they can join only specific meals and activities and pay independently (please contact the organisers during the symposium). The symposium has a child-friendly policy and welcomes presenters with their families in the academic and social events at a reduced registration cost. Educational and social activities will be organized for children during some days and over all dinners in the evening. No fee is required for the participation of children up to 12 years of age. Guests and delegate family members joining the symposium activities need to be registered by the delegate that has invited them. The registration of delegates and their guests is binding. Delegates that are entitled to the discounted rate will be asked to produce evidence of their circumstances at the conference registration desk: PhD students must produce a valid student ID card or letter from their supervisor; participants based in ‘lower income’ and ‘lower middle income’ countries (as defined by the World Bank) must provide evidence that their primary affiliation is at an institution based in such a country; activists and retirees evidence of their affiliation/status. Kissamos is conveniently located 30 mins from the Chania International Airport and port, and, 2.5 hours from the Heraklion International Airport. The conference main hotel is the 4-star Molos Bay Hotel. A special price list has been negotiated for a limited number of rooms (details on www.isfinance.org). Rooms are available on a first come first served basis and prices are valid for a limited time period. For booking and other information please contact the hotel directly. More InformationTerms and Conditions Provision: In addition to the academic part of the symposium, the registration covers coffee breaks, the reception, 2 lunches, 3 dinners and social activities (to be announced). The registration fee does not cover accommodation or travel, so delegates and their guests need to make their own arrangements. It is also recommended that delegates and their guests arrange for their own personal health, accident and travel insurance. Participants are recommended to make early enquiries regarding any applicable visa requirements for entry to Greece. Substitution: If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to nominate someone else to attend in your place at no additional cost. Please advise substitutions by contacting the symposium organizers. Please note that any substitution that is not communicated in writing will not be considered valid, and, that financial matters must be handled between the registered individual who is not attending and the individual who is substituting. Cancellation Policy and Refunds: Cancellation requests need to be submitted via email to the symposium organizers. A full refund of the registration fee will be made for requests prior to July 1st. After that date, a 75% refund will be made. Taxes are not refundable. We are not responsible for the potential differences in the exchange rate. If payment has already been made, credit card disputes cannot be used to obtain a refund. Any collection costs incurred will be the responsibility of the debtor. Disclaimer: The ISF 2019 Organizing Committee will not accept any liability for death, injury, any loss, cost or expense suffered for any person (including accompanying persons or partners or attendant caregivers) in or outside of the symposium facilities. In particular, the organizers will not accept any liability for losses arising from the provision or non-provision of services from hotel companies, transport operators, restaurants, childcare providers or other service providers. Nor can the organizers accept liability for losses suffered by reasons of war, including threat of war, riots and civil strife, terrorist activity, natural disasters, weather, fire, flood, drought, technical, mechanical or electrical breakdown within any premises visited by delegates and/or accompanying persons in connection with the symposium, nor losses suffered for reasons of industrial disputes, governmental action, registrations or technical problems, which may affect the services provided in connection with the symposium. Photography: The ISF 2019 Organizing Committee reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at any event, without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video with the exception of photos depicting minors. The ISF 2019 Organizing Committee may use the photograph/video in publications or other media material produced, used or contracted by the ISF 2018 Organizing Committee including but not limited to brochures, invitations, books, newspapers, magazines, television, and websites. Any person or organization not affiliated with the ISF 2018 may not use, copy, alter or modify ISF 2019 photographs, graphics, videography or other, similar reproductions or recordings without the advance written permission of an authorized designee from the ISF 2019. In the event that the meeting is cancelled by the ISF 2018 Organizing Committee, or for any reason or any factor out of the control of the Organizing Committee, such as force majeure, natural disasters, weather conditions, acts of terrorism, or any other cause beyond the control of the ISF 2019 Organizing Committee, which results in the ISF 2019 not taking place; the ISF 2019 Organizing Committee will try to make all possible efforts to reschedule the Symposium. In such cases, it is entirely the decision of the ISF 2019 Organizing Committee to decide on the refunds of the registration fee. The liability of the organizers shall be limited to the refund and they shall not be liable for any other loss, cost or expense, however caused, incurred or arising. In particular, the ISF 2019 organizers shall not be liable to refund any travel or hotel costs incurred by delegates or their organizations.
