Developing educational support skills for those facilitating learning in health and social care settings

A series of six online short courses

All courses run from 9.30am until 4pm

The School of Health Sciences is delivering a multi professional clinical / educator development programme that has the following key learning aims.

Programme Aims:

• Offer a development program for all practitioners working in health and social care to undertake first steps in a Clinical/ Practice Education career pathway.
• Provide a blended approach to support staff who may have varied educational backgrounds.
• Allow existing or newly in educational/training roles to develop relevant awareness, skills and knowledge in key areas of education and practice learning.
• Be a source of continual profession development for clinical staff supporting learners in healthcare settings.
• Aid the support and learning needs for students on a range of educational programmes and be appropriate for social care as well as healthcare
