DescriptionTAG is an international conference hosting around 350 delegates focused on the study and theoretical frameworks of archaeology. It is also relevant to scholars interested in material study of the past generally. ## IN PERSON BOOKING FOR THIS EVENT IS CLOSED, ONLINE ONLY ATTENDANCE IS STILL OPEN FOR BOOKINGS ## This year’s theme is Climate, befitting for a UEA hosted conference. TAG was formed as a national body in 1979 to promote debate and discussion of issues in theoretical archaeology. Its sole activity now is the promotion of an annual conference, traditionally held in December and organised to be accessible at low cost to research students. TAG has often been at the forefront of debate in archaeology, for instance in the late 1980s and early 1990s when post-modernism began to make an impression on archaeological thought. This year’s conference, we hope, will be wide ranging in its exploration of climate change and its material and social implications. https://tagnorwich2023.wordpress.com/2023/11/04/climate-tag-programme/
